CodeRED Emergency Notification System
Seconds Count in an Emergency!
The City of Bryant has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System- an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child, or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 50,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers our recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.
It is very important for citizens and businesses to participate in the program actively in order to maximize the benefits of the system and public safety. This system is only as good as the database of phone numbers supporting it. To ensure the most accurate information is available, the City of Bryant encourages all citizens and business owners to register their information with CodeRED. Information needed for the system includes name, address and phone numbers (cell phone numbers can be registered also). This information is kept strictly confidential with CodeRED. Also, if you happen to move or change phone numbers you should update your information. To register, click on the following logo which will take you to the CodeRED registration form.

THIS SYSTEM WILL ONLY BE USED FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES.
Examples of times when the CodeRED system could be utilized:
- Drinking water contamination
- Utility outage
- Evacuation notice & route
- Missing person
- Fires or Floods
- Bomb threat
- Hostage situation
- Chemical spill or Gas leak
- other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety
